In addition to highways maintenance, they cover network management, emergency response services, and traffic management. They have a strong focus on safety, sustainability and innovation, which enables them to deliver services and large-scale, complex projects in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner.
Due to continual growth and several exciting projects in the pipeline this company is looking to add a temporary Schemes Engineer to their Highways team.
Your day will include but not be limited to:
Completing client feasibility studies, preliminary/detailed designs through to builds on site, final account, and as-built drawings for schemes.
Liaising effectively with stakeholders.
Ensuring TM drawings are produced and completed prior to submission with all comments addressed from stakeholders.
Taking responsibility for coordinating Build Programme delivery.
Ensuring schemes are constructed in accordance with the approved design and specification.
You will be joining a close knit, hardworking team who are excellent at what they do, and you will need to be comfortable working in a team environment and have finely tuned multi-tasking skills.
Some essentials included below:
HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering
A good knowledge of highways regulations
Desired Construction Skills Certification Scheme (Skilled Worker or higher)
